Welcome to the 17th annual South Slave Friendship Festival!

Hey hey everybody - it's that time of year again and we're back in full force this year!!! The north and south are once again joining together for a 3-day weekend of Festival goodness, including music all day in Conibear Park, rockin' our local bars, a Sk8 jam, a pie-eating contest, a Kid's Concert and more! Performers from all across the north are joining us to shake up our little town with country, rock 'n roll, punk, blues & boogie - everything from folk to heavy metal!

The South Slave Friendship Festival is a great opportunity for all walks of life to visit the beautiful Northwest Territories - youth can skateboard and rock out at the Teen Dance, families can enjoy the family activities and friendly atmosphere of the parks, grandparents can relax and listen to traditional music, and the party-hardy can hit up our bars! As we eagerly await the Festival, I'd like to send a warm welcome to all visitors who make their way up to this middle-of-nowhere paradise that we call Fort Smith.
